The Institute of Mine Surveying and Geodesy at TU Bergakademie Freiberg specialises in geomodelling, surveying and multi-sensor solutions for the mining sector. As coordinator of PLING, it leads the project and develops algorithms for the real-time updating of resource models as well as exploration optimisation.
Zinnwald Lithium GmbH is an associated partner and is advancing the development of lithium deposits in the Erzgebirge region.

The K+S Group is an associated partner and a globally leading supplier of mineral products such as potash and salt raw materials. The group contributes valuable expertise in raw material exploration and production as well as knowledge of the challenges and potentials in the extraction and processing of raw materials. The K+S mine sites provide an ideal basis for demonstrating PLING.
